Georgina Huljich
Georgina Huljich joined P-A-T-T-E-R-N-S as partner in 2006. In her role as Principal and Managing Director and with more than 13 years of experience, Huljich has actively thrusted the office to engage in new speculative and strategic horizons having a huge impact on design and scale of work.
Designer and Educator, Huljich holds a Professional Degree in Architecture from the National University of Rosario, Argentina and a Master of Architecture from UCLA where she graduated with Distinction and was the recipient of several design awards. She has previously worked at the Guggenheim Museum, the architectural firm Dean/Wolf Architects in New York, and at Morphosis Architects in Los Angeles.
Huljich is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture at UCLA where she teaches since 2006. She has been a Visiting Professor at the Universities of Yale, Pennsylvania, Syracuse, Berkeley, USC and TIT in Tokyo. Her work has been published and exhibited widely and her current research looks at strange peripheries in Europe and Asia and the way they affect notions of type, form and aesthetics.
Ms. Huljich is a member of the Board for CAP UCLA since 2015. She has served in National Juries for Rome Prize and AIA Awards.
